I’m glad that after an interview with the national and regional party, I’ve been selected for the longlist for the Labour Party’s selection process to decide who will be our next candidate in the general election.
I wish all the other people on the longlist the very best and am looking forward to a respectful, positive campaign in which we put forward our ideas and demonstrate how we can best serve Rugby as a candidate and MP, and ultimately, the local members decide.
