I’m an energetic and confident campaigner who enjoys knocking on doors, talking to residents and engaging with them, whatever their political views. 
I’ve campaigned for Labour since 1992, and played a leading role in our recent successes against the Conservatives to take the Council to No Overall Control so we can ensure that Labour’s policy ideas are taken more seriously and we can make positive change.
If selected to be Labour’s parliamentary candidate for Rugby I will campaign to reach the parts that other campaigns haven’t reached.
I will lead a well-motivated team that is well-resourced, dynamic and works to a clear campaign strategy.
Working together, we will engage with voters of all backgrounds, in the town centre, in the villages and beyond.
We will reach out to all stakeholders in the constituency – businesses small and large, trade unions, charities, community groups, faith groups, volunteers and more.
My campaign will persuade and inspire, by listening, by building a coalition of support, and then by leading with Labour’s positive mission-based national policy platform and a vision for how we will Build A Better Rugby.
If I am fortunate enough to be selected, I will be reaching out to party members and beyond to involve as many people as possible in our collective effort to win for Labour in Rugby and help drive positive change.
